Having acquired proficiency in the comprehensive leather industry, Ejaz Tanning has been a predominant competitor in this market. Having started off from producing only leather; the company now specializes in the manufacturing of high quality leather garments as well. All our finely crafted products are primarily catered to suit the needs of the luxury market.

With an established tannery and garment factory equipped with the modern technical know – how and human craftsmanship, every product is designed and worked upon with utmost care and precision adhering to the global benchmarks.
ABOUT TANNING
The tannery has been the essence of our business for four generations that characterizes the achievement of our predecessors. Located in Vaniyambadi (Tamil Nadu), the tannery specializes in the production of sheep and goat leathers.
The tannery is well equipped with all the modern machinery from around the world. The machines used are perfectly appropriate for the production of today’s leather specifications. Additionally, the tannery has also been certified with major leather accreditations, which endorses environment stability.
Furthermore our tannery functions as an integrated system, which closely examines production, processes from the beginning to the very end. Currently, our tannery has the capacity of producing 5 million sq. feet of leather per annum.
ENVIRONMENT
Pledging a true assurance to the environment through our operations is something Ejaz Tanning is committed to. We believe that it is equally significant to give as much as we take from our surroundings. Adhering to all legal guidelines pertaining to the environment will always be our ecological priority.
We have also acquired the certification of the ISO 14001 in the year 2015. Focusing on the product process is as significant as the product itself. This standardized system has helped us minimize those operations that provide a negative impact to the surroundings without compromising on product quality.
LWG
Ejaz Tanning has been certified by the Leather Working Group under the GOLD category in the year 2016 for adopting sustainable management techniques in the tannery. This certification has provided us with a wider platform to implement decisions that can increase our performance capabilities in accordance with nature.
TRACEBILITY
In 2015 we have developed a comprehensive Traceability System for all our leathers. This system has been formed for the purposes of coding the leather, following up documentation of origin and closely monitoring its production. All this data is stored into computers for future references.
TANNING
TANNING
Skins that are brought in are first washed and treated with chemicals that convert the protein into stable materials that will not putrefy, while still retaining all its natural characteristics. We undertake Full Chrome, Metal free and Vegetable Tanning.
DYEING
New technologies Polypropylene Drums are used for the dyeing purposes so that the visual and commercial characteristics are retained in the material. Apart from giving it the desired color; the level of texture, softness and elasticity is also kept in mind.
FINISHING
Protecting the surface of the treated leather is essential to make sure they last over time. We utilize advance precision spraying technology machines to avoid chemical wastage.
SELECTION
The finished leather is then assorted based on quality and grading is done for the skins based on customer standards.

ABOUT GARMENT
Established in the year 1986, the garment factory has also been an advantageous resource in converting finished leather into ultimate luxury goods. The garment factory is situated in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), and has an overall capacity of manufacturing 75,000 garments a year.
The sampling, design and research teams form the nucleus of the factory. Observing ever-changing trends, playing with imagination, and bringing out creativity are a day-to-day affair here. Hence the factory is an integrated system that is systematic in functioning and skillful in execution.
The garment factory is well equipped with all the necessary modern machinery to execute orders based on customer needs. The backbone of the factory is the skilled laborers who with their intricacy and craftsmanship carefully attend to every fine detail to make perfectly finished garments.Most importantly, the factory has also obtained the SA8000 certification, which ensures that social and legal compliances are adhered to.
GARMENT
LEATHER ASSORTMENT
All finished leather from the tannery is assorted and then selected based on client requirements.
CUTTING
Patterns are used to cut out the leather for every panel of the garment. This procedure is done manually yet precisely by a skillful leather cutter.
SEWING
Many panels of the garment are sewn together with utmost precision using modernized sewing machines.
FINISHING
In this step, the garments are given a more refined look after sewing.
INSPECTION
Scrutiny of each aspect of the garment is strictly carried out to ensure that high quality standards are maintained.
